General Questions
What exactly does IVarse Technologies do?
We build technology solutions that help businesses work smarter. From custom software and cloud systems to data analytics and cybersecurity — if your business needs it to run better, we can build it.
Are you based in Nigeria?
Yes, we are proudly Nigerian. Our headquarters is right here, and we serve clients across West Africa and beyond. We understand the local business environment and we build solutions that work in our reality — power issues, connectivity challenges, and all.
Can you work with my existing systems?
Absolutely. We know most businesses already have tools and systems in place. We don't ask you to throw everything away and start fresh. We integrate with what you have and make it work better.
Do you work with small businesses or just big companies?
We work with businesses of all sizes. Whether you're a startup finding your feet or an established enterprise scaling up, we tailor our approach to fit your budget and your goals. No job is too small if the impact matters.
How do I know if my business needs your services?
If you're spending too much time on manual processes, your systems don't talk to each other, your data is scattered, or you're worried about security — those are signs. Reach out and let's have a conversation. No pressure, just honest advice.
What industries do you serve?
We work across many sectors — finance, healthcare, oil and gas, agriculture, education, logistics, government, and more. Our team understands the unique challenges each industry faces, especially in the African context.
Can I see examples of your previous work?
Yes! Check out our case studies section. We share real stories of how we've helped businesses solve problems and grow. If you want to know more about a specific project, just ask — we're happy to walk you through it.
Pricing & Payments
How does your pricing work?
We don't do one-size-fits-all pricing. Every project is different, so we give you a quote based on what you actually need. We'll discuss your requirements, scope the work, and give you a transparent breakdown. No hidden charges.
Do you require full payment upfront?
No. We typically work with milestone-based payments. You pay as we deliver, so you can see progress before the next payment is due. It keeps things fair and transparent for everyone.
Can we start with a small project first?
Of course. Many of our clients start with a pilot or a single module. Once you see the results and you're comfortable, we can scale up together. No pressure to commit to everything at once.
Do you offer maintenance and support plans?
Yes. After we deliver your solution, we offer flexible support plans to keep things running smoothly. Whether you need 24/7 monitoring or just periodic check-ins, we have options that fit your budget.
What currencies do you accept?
We primarily work in Naira for local clients. For international clients, we accept USD, GBP, and EUR. We'll sort out the payment method that works best for you during the proposal stage.
Working Process
How does a typical project kick off?
We start with a discovery call to understand your business, your pain points, and your goals. From there, we put together a proposal with scope, timeline, and cost. Once you're happy with it, we get to work with a dedicated team.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the scope. A simple integration might take a few weeks. A full enterprise platform could take 3 to 6 months. We always give you a realistic timeline upfront — no overpromising.
Will I have a dedicated point of contact?
Yes. Every client gets a project lead who keeps you updated and makes sure things are moving. You won't be chasing us for updates — we'll come to you with regular progress reports.
How do you handle changes during a project?
We know requirements can shift as the work progresses. We use an agile approach, so changes are expected and manageable. If something big changes, we'll discuss the impact on timeline and cost with you before moving forward.
Do you provide training after delivery?
Yes. We don't just build and disappear. We train your team to use the system confidently. We provide documentation, walkthroughs, and hands-on sessions so your people are comfortable from day one.
What happens after the project is done?
We stay in touch. Whether it's a support plan, periodic reviews, or future enhancements, we're here for the long run. Many of our clients started with one project and now we handle multiple solutions for them.
Services & Solutions
Do you build mobile apps as well as web apps?
Yes. We build for web, iOS, and Android. If it makes sense for your project, we can build cross-platform apps that work on all devices from a single codebase — saves time and money.
What cloud providers do you work with?
We work with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid setups. We'll recommend the best fit based on your needs, budget, and where your users are located. No vendor lock-in — we keep your options open.
Can you help us move to the cloud?
That's one of our core strengths. Whether you're moving from on-premise servers or migrating between cloud providers, we handle the planning, execution, and testing to make sure nothing breaks in the process.
How do you handle data security?
Very seriously. We use encryption, access controls, secure APIs, monitoring, and industry best practices. We also help with compliance — NDPR, GDPR, PCI DSS, whatever your industry requires.
Is cybersecurity something you do once or ongoing?
Ongoing. Threats evolve, so your defences need to evolve too. We offer continuous monitoring, regular assessments, and incident response. Think of it like having a security guard that never sleeps.
Can you build custom APIs for our business?
Yes. We design and build secure, well-documented APIs that connect your systems — whether it's payments, logistics, CRM, or any third-party service. We follow REST and GraphQL standards.
What is ERP and do we need one?
ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. It's basically one system that connects your finance, HR, inventory, operations — everything. If you're running your business across multiple spreadsheets and disconnected tools, an ERP can bring it all together.
How long does ERP implementation take?
Typically 3 to 6 months depending on how complex your operations are and how much customisation you need. We break it into phases so you start seeing value early, not just at the end.
What is ITSM and why should I care?
ITSM is IT Service Management — it's about making sure your IT department runs like a proper operation, not just putting out fires. It brings structure to how issues are handled, services are delivered, and improvements are tracked. If your IT feel chaotic, ITSM brings order.
What ITSM tools do you work with?
We implement platforms like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, and BMC Helix. We'll recommend the right tool for your size and complexity, and we handle setup, customisation, and training.
Can you help us with data migration?
Yes. Moving data from old systems to new ones is what we do well. We plan it carefully, validate everything, and make sure nothing gets lost or corrupted in the move. We've handled migrations for some really complex, large-scale datasets.
Do you build dashboards and analytics?
Yes. We build real-time dashboards that show you what's happening in your business — KPIs, trends, performance metrics. We can customise views for different roles: directors see the big picture, managers see the details.
What kind of analytics can you provide?
We cover the full range — what happened (descriptive), why it happened (diagnostic), what's likely to happen (predictive), and what you should do about it (prescriptive). It depends on where you are in your data journey.
Do you work with IoT and smart devices?
Yes. We design IoT solutions that connect sensors, devices, and systems to give you real-time visibility and control. We've done work in manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and logistics.
Can your IoT solutions work with our existing equipment?
In most cases, yes. We integrate with existing industrial systems — ERP, SCADA, MES — and we can work with a wide range of sensors and devices. We'll assess your setup and design the integration around it.
What is Digital Presence Optimisation?
It's about making sure your online presence actually works for you — fast website, good SEO, proper user experience, content that connects. If people can't find you online or your site is slow, you're losing business. We fix that.
Can you improve our existing website?
Yes. You don't always need a brand new website. Sometimes what you have just needs optimising — better speed, better SEO, better structure, better user flow. We audit what you have and make it perform.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Yes, for clients on our monitoring and support plans. We have systems in place to catch issues before they affect your business, and our team is available round the clock for critical situations.
Can we use our own AI or machine learning models?
Yes. If you have custom models, we can integrate them into your systems. We also help with model training, deployment, and management. If you're starting from scratch, we can help you build the right models for your use case.
What is OpsCommerce?
OpsCommerce is our multi-tenant e-commerce platform. Think of it like your own Shopify — but self-hosted, with full control. You can run multiple online stores from one backend, manage products, orders, payments, and even sync with your ERP system. It's built for businesses that want serious e-commerce without depending on a third-party platform.
Can OpsCommerce handle multiple stores?
Yes, that's one of its core strengths. One OpsCommerce installation can power multiple independent stores — each with their own products, branding, payment providers, and settings. Perfect for agencies, franchises, or businesses with multiple brands.
Does OpsCommerce integrate with ERP systems?
Absolutely. We built deep ERP integration from the ground up. Products, inventory, orders, and payments sync both ways between your store and your back-office systems. So your online operations and your enterprise tools stay in sync without manual work.
What payment providers does OpsCommerce support?
OpsCommerce supports Stripe for international payments, Paystack for African markets (Naira, Cedis, Rand, Shillings), M-Pesa for East Africa mobile money, and OPay for West Africa. The system automatically routes payments to the best provider based on the customer's currency.
Does OpsCommerce have a billing system for store owners?
Yes. OpsCommerce includes a full SaaS billing engine. You can create subscription plans with feature limits — like max products, orders, or staff accounts — and charge store owners monthly. It handles trials, upgrades, enforcement, and invoicing.
What is GroovPass?
GroovPass is our event and cinema ticketing platform. It covers the full lifecycle — from event creation and ticket sales to gate entry with QR code scanning. Whether you're running a concert, a conference, or a cinema, GroovPass handles it end to end.
Can GroovPass handle both events and cinema?
Yes. GroovPass has dedicated modules for both. Events get multi-tier pricing, lineups, and sessions. Cinemas get screen management, seat maps, and showtime scheduling with TMDB movie sync. Same platform, different workflows.
What payment options does GroovPass support?
GroovPass uses smart payment routing — Stripe for international, Paystack for Africa, M-Pesa for East Africa, and OPay for West Africa. It automatically picks the best provider based on the customer's currency and location. Plus there's a built-in wallet system and gift cards.
Does GroovPass have a mobile app?
Yes, multiple actually. There's a consumer app for buying tickets, an event manager app for organisers, and a gate agent app for QR code scanning at the door. All built with React Native and Expo.
Can I transfer or resell tickets on GroovPass?
Yes. GroovPass supports ticket transfers — you can share a ticket via email and the recipient claims it. There's also a resale marketplace built in, plus waitlists for sold-out events.
What is OpsCloud ERS?
OpsCloud ERS is our enterprise management platform. It gives you one dashboard to manage your business operations, monitor performance, control access, and keep your tools connected. Think of it as mission control for your entire business — clean, intuitive, and built so you can focus on running things, not fighting your software.
How does OpsCloud work with other IVarse products?
OpsCloud is designed to be the central hub. Your e-commerce, your operations, your resources — they all connect through OpsCloud. Data flows between your tools automatically, so you're not doing manual syncing or jumping between platforms.
Do I need technical skills to use OpsCloud?
Not at all. OpsCloud is built to be straightforward. You manage everything from a clean dashboard — no command lines, no complex configurations. We handle the technical side so you can focus on running your business.
What is Nuvea?
Nuvea is our upcoming intelligent operations platform. We're still building it, so we can't share everything just yet — but it's designed to bring smarter automation and AI-powered insights to business operations. Keep an eye out. When it drops, you'll know.
